This is an OEM paddle style shut off controlled ice maker.It comes the new six pin wiring harness currently used in most GE refrigerator ice maker systems. We have added the 6 to 4 pin adapter (as pictured) for that older freezer plug in application. These are primarily designed to mount to the left freezer wall for top mount, bottom freezer, and some side by side refrigerators.

Standard mounting is 2 screws on top via the ice maker brackets on the left freezer wall. Please keep the transferable plastic fill spout and retaining clip (if necessary) from the original ice maker. At least ONE or BOTH will be needed for transfer to the new depending on the mounting style etc. The plastic fill spout and retaining clip will transfer if necessary from the original to this ice maker.....guaranteed!!!
