This valve is made for ice service ONLY ice maker systems For all intents and practical functionality purposes, this single valve will effectively plug and play with most all top mount and bottom freezer ice service only refrigerators manufactured within the last 25 years.  Most  ice service systems have 1/4" brass or stainless steel threaded intake for the supply line and a quick connect 1/4" outlet. Some of the older ones have a 1/4" to garden hose connection. This is straight 1/4 w/o the garden hose adapter and is absolutely compatible!!! From there this valve has the new quick connect fitting going to the tube from the valve up the back of the freezer to the ice maker.The tubing feeding from older valves is most cases is a thinner stock and for that reason, The Ice Maker Store includes the 1/4" tubing going up the back of the freezer with the sale at n/c.
